GLOBAL MENTAL HEALTH SUMMIT THE AMERICAN IBOGAINE INITIATIVE: A BIPARTISAN IBOGAINE RESEARCH BILL 2026 - SIGN THE PETITION
The Knowledge Recovery Foundation/ Institute (KRFI), a Public Benefit Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research and clinical development organization, today announced the American Ibogaine Initiative: A Bipartisan Call to NYS Ibogaine Research Bill for Governor Hochul's sign off during the January General Senate Assembly in NYS, Albany. KRFI is conducting a two-day Global Drug Policy for Mental Health and KRFI Gala Award Dinner fundraising event at the New York Academy of Medicine on December 11–12, 2025. The December 12th event will launch the Global Mental Health Security Fund’s matching allocation to $300 million for other opioid FDA Clinical Trial Grant funding by signing off on the NYS Bipartisan Ibogaine Research grant, supporting the nation’s first-ever FDA clinical trial for ibogaine in the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) / Substance. Use Disorder, TBI, Parkinson's Diseases.
This historic Ibogaine research bill initiative unites state leadership, federal regulators, scientific researchers, and global public–private partners to advance safe, ethical, and science-based clinical access to ibogaine, a plant-derived compound showing potential to transform addiction treatment and mental health care.

Former DEA chief, and other UN Missions and Ambassadors for the Ibogaine PPP ABS-IP with UNCED agreements.
A Turning Point in Ibogaine Addiction Research and Global Mental Health Policy
The initiative represents a bipartisan breakthrough in U.S. mental health policy, connecting New York State and Texas through a unified clinical research consortium and establishing an international Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) framework for sustainable ibogaine production in Brazil, Gabon, Ghana, Cameroon, DRC, and Costa Rica and others.
The event’s proceeds will fund KRFI’s Contract Research Organization (CRO) and Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) platform, supporting the FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) application for ibogaine and accelerating cross-border data integration for clinical, regulatory, and environmental traceability.

Questors: Global Mental Health Private Public Sector Partnership Consortium
The Global Mental Health Security Fund (GMHSF) will match the NYS Ibogaine research bill with private matching investment/contributions to fund the FDA clinical trial through 2026. KRFI Questors CTMS & Reporting Hyperledger, with DSCS blockchain infrastructure, to provide National regulatory compliance, supply chain traceability, and global clinical trial harmonization with partners in Europe, Australia, and Latin America, including MHRA (UK Atai Ibogaine for OUD), ANVISA (AUD Study by PhytoStan - Brazil), and completed studies by ICEERS (Methadone study for Spain).

Together with his African-American wife Norma, a pair of outsider NYU film students, they dedicated their lives to getting science and government to research it, convinced that it would be of great medicinal benefit, despite it sounding too good to be true, like the very definition of snake oil, and being written off as con artists.
